Peekly (“we”, “us”) is a research tool that uses the official Etsy Open API. This policy explains what we store and why. We do not sell personal data.
When you create an account we store your email address, display name (optional), a hashed password, and email verification / password-reset tokens until they expire or are used.
We store saved keyword lists you create, cached Etsy API responses for a short time (see How our data works), and daily usage counters so we can stay within Etsy rate limits.
If you connect your own Etsy shop (when that feature is enabled), we store encrypted OAuth access and refresh tokens, the connected shop id, and the granted scopes. Tokens are encrypted at rest. We request only listings_r and shops_r — not purchase or sales (transaction) data.
Application data lives in Postgres. Short-lived cache and rate-limit state may live in Redis. Sessions use a secure cookie managed by Auth.js. We do not use advertising trackers on the product.
Essential cookies keep you signed in and complete the Etsy OAuth handshake when that feature is enabled. We do not set third-party advertising cookies.
